What on earth is a Digital Slowmad?
A digital slowmad is definitely not a tourist and not quite a digital nomad, either.
Digital "slowmads" are people who travel slowly, allowing more time to discover local cultures in an authentic way.
By day, they work from anywhere with an internet connection.
By nightfall, they are mixing with locals, expats and travelers in
establishments that aren't on Google maps,
solving the world's problems,
one wine at a time.
My blogs are NOT about promoting a travel influencer lifestyle.
I want to help travellers and anyone living away from their motherland to become enthusiastically uncomfortable, unconventional and feel like they belong in impossibly difficult places (and circumstances), while sharing how I came to live abroad -
without having to sell feet pics for a living!
